What happens when my LCD monitor gets a tear in it? - tear in lcd screen
My cat loves to chase my mouse pointer, and I received one of the monitors to flat screen LCD monitor instead of LCD. Unfortunately, I think to put one of his claws into a small tear it. It is small, barely noticeable, but I wonder what will happen to him anyway, and if you can repair? Thank you.

May worsen as the protective membrane has broken, allow air cleaners, etc. on the screen.
Unfortunately, I must say that you need to replace a portion of the screen.
This may not be profitable to do so.
Either live with it, repair or - SOB - Buying a new monitor.
The service agent will not be treated as a security issue.
Also consider to use instead of the cat or dog on a "bad" Windows wallpaper in the future. Just joking.
It was virtually cut off only the life of the screen into two halves.
You can try to buff using a kit for polishing glass. If you see any real change in the pixels themselves noticed, but I would not worry about it. If the scratch really relates to the points of the screen is ruined.
